Every July, a group of Physical Plant employees put on a golf scramble. All proceeds of the event benefit the Michigan State University Community Charitable Campaign. The cost is $65 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, prizes, continental breakfast and a post-tournament luncheon. For more information, contact Michelle Jacobs at (517) 432-0246
The Physical Plant usually holds two blood drives per year in the lunch room across from the custodial services office. Blood drives usually start at 10 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. Appointments are requested, but walk-ins are also welcome.
